Not long ago we had the pleasure of awarding our first fellowship to an up-and-coming talent of research in Africa. With the money and materials donated by Sayansi R4D, Hellen Kinyi was able to performthe lab work she needed for her MSc thesis. Her research focuses in the anti-oxidant properties of several vegetable produces of common use in Uganda, as well as the modifications that these properties suffer during the cooking process.
